Are you looking for a reliable and professional space to fire your creations? My studio offers the opportunity to rent space in our state-of-the-art electric kiln for both bisque and glaze firings.
Whether you’re working on your first project or refining your craft, you can trust that your pieces will be handled with care and precision.
Hire cost is based on the volume of your piece in the kiln and whether you want a dedicated firing.
Bisque firings usually wait until a kiln can be filled with pieces. Dedicated bisque firings are generaly requested if you want a piece quickly and don’t want to wait for the kiln to be filled.
Glaze firings usually also happen when a full load is available, but glazes can react differently depending on the gasses emitted from the other pieces in the kiln.
In addition to electric kiln firings, we also offer Raku firing upon request. This traditional Japanese technique produces stunning, one-of-a-kind finishes that can add a unique touch to your work. I can do your Raku firing for you, or you can come and do it yourself under supervision.
